About Bart Miller
Licensed in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, North Carolina, and South Carolina
Bart Miller, ALC, is Managing Broker and Partner of Mason & Morse Ranch Company, where he leads the firm’s brokerage operations, agent development, licensing, marketing strategy, and multi-state business growth. Since 1998, Bart has played a central role in expanding the company’s farm, ranch, recreational land, auction, and rural property marketing services across the Western United States and beyond.
Raised in Nebraska, Bart’s connection to land began on his family’s farm, where corn and soybean production, hard work, stewardship, and rural community values shaped his understanding of agriculture and land ownership. Those early experiences continue to influence his approach to ranch and land brokerage today. He believes land represents more than property; it provides opportunity, livelihood, legacy, investment value, and a way of life for those who care for it well.
Bart earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from the University of Nebraska with an emphasis in economics. While studying, he worked with the University of Nebraska’s Agricultural Economics Department, contributing to research for the Nebraska Land Values Report, a respected resource on agricultural land values and lease trends. He also received a research grant for work focused on land improvements, soil erosion, and tenant-landlord relationships. Bart later completed a master’s degree in Real Estate Development and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
As an Accredited Land Consultant through the REALTORS® Land Institute, Bart is part of a select group of land professionals recognized for advanced education, proven transaction performance, and a commitment to professional growth. He has also been active in professional land brokerage leadership, serving the REALTORS® Land Institute at both the state and national levels, including service on the National Board of Directors as an At-Large Director and involvement with the Colorado Chapter of RLI.
Bart’s industry recognition includes being named Colorado RLI Land REALTOR® of the Year in 2014. He is also a founding member of the Land Broker Co-op / LandBrokerMLS.
Through his leadership at Mason & Morse Ranch Company, Bart supports a highly qualified team of farm, ranch, recreational land, and rural property brokers representing clients across multiple states. His work combines agricultural knowledge, land economics, brokerage experience, and a practical understanding of the operational, recreational, conservation, and legacy values that define rural real estate.
Bart and his wife, Tanya, enjoy an outdoor lifestyle rooted in the same appreciation for land that has shaped his career. They spend time in Colorado, Arizona, and Nebraska, where they enjoy hiking desert hills with their dogs, skiing in the Rocky Mountains, and gathering with family at their lake house in Nebraska near the annual migration of the Sandhill Cranes.
